We fancy playing cupid this year and plan to excite your senses with a menu of all aphrodisiacs. It will be a culinary delight to share with your loved one, let us dim the lights and melt some chocolate, but I think we’ll hold the garlic shall we?
21st February, Pancake Day. We haven’t just got a French head chef because he’s an amazing cook...
We also love his crepe making expertise and lets face it, you may call yourself a pancake flipping expert, but just because no one knows it’s been on the ceiling since last February doesn’t mean it isn’t still there!
Monday 27th February, 7pm : Fire-fighters ball
The Swan would like to say a massive thank you to the brave fire fighters who risked their lives to save our beloved historic pub. Without their fast thinking and bravery; we're sure we would have been without our pub for Christmas.
As our way of saying thank you, the Swan will be hosting a fire fighters ball to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
The Fire Fighters Charity is the UK's leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.
It costs £9m every year to meet the needs of the charity's beneficiaries, and with no government funding, it is completely reliant upon donations from the general public and fire community.
For every ticket sold we will be donating £5, and will also be holding a raffle and auction!
Help us show our appreciation to all of the local fire crews who served us so well, and buy a ticket!
